New car park and square at Alruno plant

he area around the plant in Szymiszów underwent a comprehensive modernisation. As a result, loading is now carried out more efficiently and safely.

The construction works took about two months. They included reconstruction of the access road, the car park for employees and the manoeuvre area in front of the production hall.

Where there was gravel, a new asphalt and concrete surface appeared. An area of over 5,000 square metres was reconstructed this way. What’s even more important, a new stormwater drainage system and sanitary sewer were built under the surface.

• Our goal was, first and foremost, to improve the safety of our staff – declares Aleksander Szulc. – The investment has also contributed to the improvement of internal transport as well as loading and unloading of trucks. Moreover, thanks to the new surface, we reduced the amount of dust from under the wheels of cars and forklifts.

This investment is a continuation of the works started in 2019. At that time, the company modernised 4,200 square metres of the manoeuvring area. Also, Alruno’s development plan envisages a major overhaul of the administration building by the end of 2021.
