On 18th June 2016 ALRUNO company celebrated its 50th anniversary. On this occasion, on 25th June 2016, a Holy Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Holy Spirit in Szymiszów-Osiedle for the intention of the company’s employees. After the Mass, a jubilee celebration was held, which was attended by the company employees together with accompanying persons and invited guests.
The history of the company dates back to 1966. Then the senior – Mr Norbert Szulc – opened a locksmith workshop in Szczepanek. In the first years, his activity focused mainly on providing general locksmith services.
In the early 1990s a subsidiary company was established, headed by Mr. Norbert’s son – Aleksander Szulc – under the name ALRUNO. ALRUNO’s activity was located on the premises of a leased hall in Strzelce Opolskie. At the end of the 90s the company specialized in the production of small steel structures. Due to the dynamic development, in June 2014, ALRUNO moved all its activities to the former State Machine Centre in Szymiszów. Here it has an area of more than 3.1 hectares and 5 production halls with a total size of 4000 m². Now the plant employs over 70 people – a large part of them are Szymiszów residents.
